For the summer season 2026, we are looking for guides with a service-oriented mindset who can provide our guests with an unforgettable experience.

The role of a guide with us

Our guides are the face of Äskhult, where a crucial part of the role is to always act professionally so that our guests leave with a positive experience. As a guide, you will hold tours, themed tours, and guide booked groups. You will meet guests from near and far and contribute to an engaging and memorable experience. Practical tasks may include simple animal care, gardening, and cleaning.

Your profile

You are service-oriented, attentive, and engaged. With your ability to create interest and capture the audience, you make a strong impression in all contexts. You take initiative, adapt quickly to new situations, and show a high degree of flexibility. Personal suitability will be highly valued. We are looking for someone who:

• Is at least 18 years old when the employment begins
• Can understand and express themselves in Swedish and English
• Has a B driver's license
• Has good computer skills
• Has relevant education or experience in pedagogy, cultural history, or drama.

It is an advantage if you:

• Can understand and express yourself in German
• Have experience in guiding or working in cultural historical environments

Our offer and other information

We offer a temporary position (summer job/seasonal) up to 80% between June 15 – August 25, 2026.

• Weekend work and some evenings may occur
• We may offer job opportunities in the preseason and extension during weekends and autumn events
• You must have your own vehicle or the ability to get to work independently as public transport is limited.
